Task - Short film
A short film can be a powerful way to communicate complex ideas, it can persuade, educate and
entertain. The short film for this project can be seen as a visual essay that evidences your research on
your chosen topic (DofC).
Topic : Oceans
Initially I was assigned the theme of water, so I did some research about it. I found that the place with the most water consumption is the city. Because with the development of urbanization, more and more people will live in urban. There seems to be a natural contradiction between urbanization and nature, which needs to destroy the natural environment to promote construction. At the same time, many wastes that are difficult to degrade are produced every day. Most of these wastes are buried or flow into the ocean. Finally, I decided to do research on the ocean.
Primary Research
I found that humans have made many garbages and discarded them into the ocean. The most harmful of these are plastic materials because they take a long time to degrade. This property causes them to be broken down into many micro-plastic particles that are ingested by fish, it destroying the food chain of the ocean.
Datas
The chart shows how much plastic wastes have been produced by humans around the world and also shows how much wastes have entered the ocean. To date, humans have made 8.3 billion tons of plastic products. If calculated on the current scale, 12 billion tons of plastic wastes will be accumulated by 2050. This is a very horrible situation.

What happened?
What if all the water resources on the planet have been polluted by 2050? According to the research, more than 8 million tons of plastics are abandoned in the ocean each year, accounting for 80% of marine debris.
Secondary Research & PACT
By the second research, I found that the micro-plastic particles have affected the daily life of human beings, and finally confirmed the content of PACT. People: human beings.

Insight : The ocean is polluted because humans have discarded many garbages.
Pov : Humans need to reduce pollution to the ocean because it will protects our homeland.

Description: As the city's wastes pollute the ocean, the fish evolved into a creature that ate garbages. Finally the fish swallowed the city.
